Radnor is a historic township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, part of the Philadelphia Main Line. It was founded in 1682 by Welsh Quakers who sought to establish a Welsh barony in Pennsylvania. Radnor gets its name from Radnorshire, a county in Wales. You can see the Welsh influence in the community’s streets and places. Radnor is home to several colleges and universities, including Villanova University, Cabrini University, Valley Forge Military Academy and College, and Eastern University.
