Edgmont is one of the earliest townships established in Pennsylvania, founded in the late 17th century, and named after the ancient royal manor of Edgemond in Shropshire, England. Located in western Delaware County, this semi-rural suburb is a high-income residential community along West Chester Pike, providing easy access to both Philadelphia and West Chester, which features a quaint business district and a small college.
And it's now home to Onyx Combat Sports for martial arts Ardmore.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Edgmont is known as the gentle art. Jiu Jitsu is a martial art, self-defense system, and combat sport. Today, it is widely practiced by our military and law enforcement due to its superior grappling application, making it easy for anyone to use.
Jiu Jitsu allows smaller people to beat larger, stronger, and faster opponents by utilizing proper leverage, body mechanics, and technique.
Muay Thai Edgmont or Thai Boxing, is the art of eight limbs. Muay Thai is a striking martial art and combat sport incorporating punches, kicks, knees, elbows, and clinching.
